THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a talented, enthusiastic and engaging designer who is keen to develop a career spanning disciplines and skill sets? Do you have the diligence, motivation and personal skills needed to thrive in a busy client-oriented design agency? Cliché questions perhaps, but we’re looking for the very best people to join our team, so if you’re confident, read on and we hope to hear from you.

This role is ideally suited to recent graduates who are exceptional students eager to make connections during their continuing studies, or candidates with up to one year’s experience. A graphic design or course focused on visual communication is likely to create the best match for our business.

We’re still a relatively small agency meaning you will play an active role in busy agency life. You will be supporting and working on live projects and working alongside everyone on our team. It’s fair to say this is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate in terms of industry exposure and the breadth of experienced and skilled people you’ll be working with.

ABOUT TOGETHER

Based in Clapham Common, London (zone 2), we have a friendly, open and collaborative environment. Every day is different and the work covers a broad spectrum of clients and the challenges they set us. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver excellent and exciting work because we have committed and open-minded employees who are willing to create new approaches and deliver beyond client expectations. Demonstrating the ability to grasp new skills quickly and show initiative is always recognised and rewarded.

It’s not all work – we balance our commitment to work with our passion for looking after our people: from morning yoga, running club & table tennis to free breakfasts and frequent socials such as Friday BBQs and film nights. Everything we do socially is designed to be fun and inclusive.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to support our project teams, getting to experience the demands and rewards of agency life first-hand. Together is committed to rewarding all our staff with pay that reflects the responsibilities they are asked to undertake.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and documenting project research (client landscape, visual language & tone of voice) for live and prospective projects
  • Concept exploration and idea generation across projects
  • Producing design solutions across a range of projects for print and digital
  • Building an understanding of high-quality typesetting
  • Managing client corrections and changes
  • Creating presentation structures and written content
  • Maintaining our internal and client resources
  • Contributing designs and content to our online sketchbook and internal tools
  • Supporting existing team members with ongoing project work – including asset production & artworking
  • Inclusion in client meetings

Generally speaking, the more capability people demonstrate, the more freedom we afford/ reward them with over time.

We are looking for candidates who can start immediately but offer flexibility for the right candidate.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply, please email apply@togethercreative.co.uk attaching your CV, portfolio and covering letter (please attach the documents separately to the main body of the email).

To strengthen your application, briefly articulate why you’re interested in the role and why you think you are the right person for Together. Check out our website for more detail on what we do: https://togethercreative.co.uk/

Deadline for applications: 24th February 2020

Please note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship and for this reason can only accept applications from those with the right to work in the UK for the foreseeable future.

Salary: £20,000 /year
